Vaani Kapoor Recalls Fond Memories With Her First Co-Star Sushant Singh Rajput: He Gave Me The Warmest Smile When I Walked Into The Room
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, and while it has been more than a month since his death, many people are still trying to come to terms with the fact that he is no more. Marking one month of Sushant passing away, Ankita Lokhande, Mukesh Chhabra, Rhea Chakraborty, Ekta Kapoor, among others dedicated special posts remembering the late actor. Now, Sushant’s Shuddh Desi Romance co-star Vaani Kapoor recalls the fond memories she shared with the late actor.

Vaani Kapoor, while speaking to The Times Of India, said that she had met Sushant for the first time at YRF for a reading session, and still remembers that Sushant gave her the sweetest smile as soon as she walked in. “I had met him (Sushant Singh Rajput) for the first time at YRF, it was a reading session and Manish Sharma was there. I remember walking in and Sushant gave me the warmest smile. You know when you get that comfort feeling about someone even though you don’t know them that well because they treat you with love and warmth,” said Vaani.

She further shared how Sushant was always sweet to her and that thinking about his death makes her feel gloomy. “Sushant was very helpful and sweet. Throughout the film he was really sweet to me. He was so talented, when I see him in ‘Dil Bechara’ now I just realise what a good actor he was. That void will always be there for all of us. It makes you feel gloomy when you think of what happened. Sushant was my first co-actor so that will always be a special memory,” she said.

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Vaani Kapoor had shared two posts ion Instagram remembering him. One post read, “My first ever Co actor ! It’s heartbreaking. Lots of love ..RIP,” while in another post she wrote, “I remember my first meeting with you and there you were, the first person to smile at me and help me! My first co-actor! Still in disbelief and shock. I have known you as a happy & funny person. I wish I could do something to change this. I am going to miss you. Miss the chance to work with you again. I pray for your soul to find its calm.” ALSO READ: Bell Bottom: Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor And Team To Dash Off To Scotland In Private Jets- REPORTS
